The Venus Rum cocktail has a light refreshing flavor, a nice fizzy quality, and double standard alcohol strength.

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 ounce white rum
• 1 ounce apricot brandy
• 1/2 ounce triple sec
• 1/2 ounce lime juice
• 1 ounce soda water

Instructions

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Pour in everything but the soda water.
3. Shake thoroughly.
4. Chill an old-fashioned glass and fill with cracked ice.
5. Strain the mixture into the glass over the ice.
6. Top it off with the soda.
7. Add a couple of skinny straws and garnish with fruit.
