The Currant Vodka Martini

Currant vodka is one of the newer flavors of vodka available on the market. Therefore, there aren’t a lot of cocktail recipes out there that use it. The Currant Vodka Martini keeps it very simple. But the flavor is out of this world.

This isn’t your usual fruity drinky. It’s got a sophisticated, complex flavor that feels like pure indulgence. Enjoy one when you’re in the mood to savor something delicious.

Recipe

• 3 ounces Absolut Kurant vodka
• 1/2 teaspoon of cassis liqueur (which is also currant-flavored)
• 1/2 teaspoon dry white wine

This one’s good on the rocks or straight up. You can either stir all the ingredients together with ice in a cocktail glass, or stir them with ice in another vessel and strain the chilled mixture into your glass. Just don’t shake it. Optionally garnish it with a sprig of black currant.
