Tequila Screwdriver

The Tequila Screwdriver is – you guessed it – the traditional Screwdriver with tequila instead of vodka. Because orange juice is pretty overwhelming, it doesn’t taste radically different from that drink, either.

But the tequila does add some notes of its own, and what those notes are will depend on the brand you use. Personally, I like a medium grade tequila for this cocktail – something that’s 100% agave, but not necessarily top shelf.

Recipe

• 1 shot tequila
• Orange juice
• Pinch of salt (optional)

Pour a shot of tequila into an old-fashioned glass and fill the rest of the way with orange juice. Stir and serve.
