The Tequila Marinade is a fairly quick marinade that’s easy to throw together before a barbecue, or any other time. It features Cuervo Silver with lime and garlic, and it works equally well with a wide variety of meats. It only takes 2-4 hours to marinate.
- 1/2 cup Cuervo Silver
- 2 limes
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
Combine the tequila, zest from the limes, garlic and olive oil in a dish. Add the meat and let it marinate for 2-4 hours in a refrigerator. Keep the rest of the limes on hand to sprinkle juice over the meat if you find you want a little extra tang (highly recommended for beef, less so for white meat).
