Southern Pink Flamingo

The Southern Pink Flamingo is a tiny little shot that somehow manages to have five ingredients. If you like things that are small and complicated, this one is right up your alley.

All kidding aside, this is a delicious little drink. The main flavor is fruit – sweet and tart – but with a background of mild coconut flavor that takes it to a whole new place.

Recipe

• 1/2 ounce Southern Comfort
• 1/2 ounce Malibu rum
• 1 splash pineapple juice
• 1 dash grenadine
• 1 dash lemon juice

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Pour in all the ingredients and shake until chilled. Strain the mixture into a shot glass. Garnish with a twist of lemon.
