Silent Broadsider

The Silent Broadsider is not your typical rum-based cocktail. It blends rum with the flavors of anise, lemon and a touch of grenadine for a taste that’s tart and slightly spicy, but with just a touch of sweetness to keep it comfortable.

Recipe

• 1 1/2 ounces light rum
• 1/2 ounce anisette
• 1/2 ounce lemon juice
• 1/2 teaspoon grenadine

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes. Pour all the ingredients into it and shake well. Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass.
