Satan’s Whiskers

You hate vermouth. You especially hate sweet vermouth. That’s okay, it’s just one of those flavors people either love or hate. I mention this because the Satan’s Whiskers cocktail boasts two ounces of the stuff, in dry and sweet forms.

That said, this cocktail surprises some vermouth haters, proving to be one of the only cocktails in which they can tolerate vermouth. That’s because the Satan’s Whiskers cocktail blends it with a strong orange flavor in the form of fruit juice, Grand Marnier and Triple Sec.

Satan’s Whiskers is a nicely potent drink – definitely a little on the strong side.

Recipe

  • 1 ounce gin
  • 1 ounce Rosso vermouth
  • 1 ounce dry vermouth
  • 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
  • 1 teaspoon triple sec
  • 1 ounce orange juice
