The Russian Funk blends vodka with sparkling water and a touch of lime and sugar. It’s very simple and rather light on the alcohol.
This drink is surprisingly refreshing, especially if you like sparkling water (if not, you can use Sprite or 7-up). The carbonation adds a nice edge of bitterness to the traditional vodka and lime combination, and the sugar keeps it from being too tart. This is a nice drink to enjoy with a meal, or when you’re thirsty after a workout.
Recipe
- 1 ounce vodka
- Dash of lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- Sparkling water
Pour everything but the soda water into a highball glass. Stir, then add the soda water.
