Making the Pumpkin Spice White Russian

You probably have most of the ingredients you need for this drink on hand already, such as vodka, Kahlua and cream or milk. What you may not have is pumpkin pie creamer.

This stuff is pretty delicious, and good in coffee too. But if you don’t want to buy some, you can substitute regular creamer or milk plus a pumpkin pie spice mix. Which is cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves or allspice.

Tasting Notes

The first thing you’ll notice is the scent of pumpkin pie spice – a warm, comforting blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves. Then you’ll feel the velvety, creamy texture that’s thanks to the combination of cream and pumpkin spice creamer.

The vodka and coffee liqueur provide a smooth, spirit-forward base, while the pumpkin spice adds a subtle sweetness and those signature fall flavors. The finish is lingering and satisfying

Overall, it’s a delightfully indulgent and comforting cocktail that perfectly captures the essence of the autumn season. It’s a wonderful way to transition into the cooler months and savor the cozy, festive flavors.

Food Pairings

The Pumpkin Spice White Russian is easy to pair with a variety of fall-inspired dishes and desserts. Pumpkin pie is wonderful with it, for obvious reasons. You could also serve gingerbread, pecan pie or apple crisp with this drink.

For a savory pairing, try enjoying it alongside roasted butternut squash. The creamy, earthy flavors of the squash complement the cocktail beautifully.
