King of Poland

The King of Poland is so-named because it features a Polish brand of vodka, but of course you can use another brand. The recipe blends a lot of vodka with some lemon juice and scotch.

King of Poland drink in tall glass with icePin

This drink is designed for chugging, since lemon, scotch and vodka probably aren’t the most easily received taste combination. But I find that if you use a good drinkable scotch in this one – say, a Glenfidditch, nothing too pricey – and you actually like scotch, then it can be pretty tasty.

Recipe

  • 3 ounces Luksosowa vodka
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 1 ounce scotch

Pour the scotch into a glass, then the lemon juice and then add some crushed ice. Finally, top it off with the vodka.
