The Honolulu Lulu got its name from the fact that it’s all liquor – every last drop. This drink is short, but it packs a pretty strong punch.
The taste is far from the easygoing fruit punch flavor you might expect based on the name. Honolulu Lulu blends the herbal notes of gin with the other herbal notes of Benedictine, then marries it all together with maraschino liqueur.
- 1 ounce gin
- 1 ounce Benedictine
- 1 ounce maraschino liqueur
Fill a glass halfway with ice. Pour all three ingredients into the glass and stir with the ice until it’s well-chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
