Gumdrop

The Gumdrop cocktail blends Galliano with scotch to create a flavor that’s starts out sweet and fruity with a little bit of spice, and finishes with an earthy note. It’s one of those drinks where you don’t have to love either of the ingredients on their own to enjoy it.

This drink is great as a nightcap, or at the end of a long day. Remember not to use a great scotch – for a cocktail, you just want something that’s drinkable rather than something you could happily savor on its own.

Recipe

• 2 ounces scotch
• 1 ounce Galliano

Build into an old-fashioned glass.
