The Ethel Duffy cocktail has a distinctly old school feel to it. It uses nothing but creme de menthe, apricot brandy and triple sec in equal parts. Simple, clean and elegant.

This is a really nice choice for when you want something slightly sweet. The Ethel Duffy is a great choice for parties, because it’s so easy to make on the fly or pre-mix big batch style in advance.

While it’s a little heavy for meals, it pairs wonderfully with any appetizers or snacks you choose. Just remember it’s pure alcohol, all the way.

Recipe
- 3/4 ounce white creme de menthe
- 3/4 ounce apricot brandy
- 3/4 ounce triple sec
Shake everything together in a shaker with ice. Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. No garnish.
