Cherry Bomb

The Cherry Bomb cocktail packs a hefty amount of grenadine, hence the name. But after the cherry taste hits you, chocolate follows. It’s not quite the flavor of a chocolate covered cherry, but it’s close.

Enjoy a Cherry Bomb whenever you’re in the mood for something sweet, fruity and chocolatey – and fun. This is definitely not a drink one could describe as sophisticated, complicated or in search of a refined palette.

Recipe

• 1 ounce vodka
• 1 1/2 ounce light creme de cacao
• 3/4 ounce grenadine

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Pour in the ingredients and shake thoroughly. Strain the mixture into a martini glass – optionally over ice.
