Boswandeling

The Boswandeling is a tasty little shot. It’s mainly vodka and triple sec, but it’s got a healthy dose of Angostura bitters, which gives it a unique flavor.

Orange and bitters make for a complex flavor combination, so even though this is a shot, it’s worth savoring rather than just downing. The trick with this one is to get the Angostura bitters evenly dispersed through the trick. Stirring obviously works, but if you want something a little more flash, pour the bitters around the edges of the inside of the glass before you’ve poured any other ingredients. Swirl it around to coat the inner edges, and then add your other ingredients.

Recipe

• 1 ounce vodka
• 1/2 ounce triple sec
• 5 dashes Angostura bitters

Pour in all the ingredients, and then stir to make sure the bitters are evenly mixed throughout the drink.
