The Berry Chocolate Martini is entirely clear in color. It blends blackberry schnapps with raspberry vodka and white creme de cacao, so the resulting taste is exactly what you’d think from the name.
This drink is definitely on the sweet side, enough so that it makes a really nice dessert drink. I think a blackberry or chocolate garnish is really nice with this one because the lack of color gives you no other clue what it’s going to taste like. A blackberry (or blackberry and raspberry, alternating) spear looks great, and you can serve the drink up with a piece of chocolate candy. I don’t personally like a cocoa rim or putting chocolate shavings on top of clear liquid, but those are other options to consider. It just doesn’t “look right” to me, but that doesn’t mean it’s wrong.
Enjoy one of these the next time you’re having a nice evening by the fireplace, or just kicking back. It’s also good for an evening out, because the sugar content keeps you going.
