The Barnum cocktail is an old classic that takes you by surprise. It’s almost too sweet (unless you’ve ruined your palate on candy ‘tinis), but the gin counters that and the bitters brings all the other ingredients together. You’ll definitely need to appreciate gin to enjoy this drink, because you will be tasting it.

Try the Barnum with dinner. It’s perfect for taking on all sorts of food flavors and standing up to them without overpowering them.
