Avalanche Cocktail

The Avalanche Cocktail is basically a White Russian with Crown Royal instead of vodka. That of course adds notes of caramel to the flavors of sweetened coffee and cream.

Opinions on Crown Royal tend to be sharply divided. But when you put it in a Kahlua drink, you can’t go wrong. It’s smooth and works well as a mixer.

In this drink, you can’t really taste it on its own due to the Kahlua and cream. This is a good drink to try next time you’re wanting a twist on the classic Russian.

Recipe

• 1 part Crown Royal
• 1 part Kahlua
• fill with cream

Put ice in a highball glass and pour the ingredients in, in order. Stir and serve.
