5 Pm Cocktail

The 5 Pm cocktail is one of those unusual ones that uses hot tea as an ingredient. It features dark rum and the orange flavor of Cointreau.

This one’s obviously designed with work quitting time in mind, but I think it makes a nice drink for sometime after dinner. I also recommend adding milk to taste – definitely try it at two drops to see what you think, but if you want to add more, just warm it up first so it won’t scald in the tea.

Recipe

• 1 ounce dark rum
• 1/2 ounce cointreau
• Fill with hot tea
• 2 drops milk

Pour rum and Cointreau into tea cup, fill with English hot tea and top with milk.
