Zoo Station

The Zoo Station is one of those slightly creamy, rather sweet little treats that features Irish cream. Don’t automatically turn it down if you hate Bailey’s – first of all, there are other brands of Irish cream (I’m partial to Carolan’s), and second, it’s not the dominant flavor in this drink.

In this cocktail, the Irish cream flavor is subdued by amaretto, coffee liqueur, banana liqueur and some good old-fashioned cream to mellow the whole flavor out. This is a nice drink whenever you’re in the mood for something sweet and like dessert in a glass.

Zoo Station

• 1/2 ounce amaretto
• 1/2 ounce coffee liqueur
• 1/2 ounce Irish cream
• 1/2 ounce banana liqueur
• 1 ounce cream

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in all the ingredients and shake until chilled. Strain the mixture into a shot glass.
