Mix That Drink Kitschy Drink Recipes
The Urban Jungle is, as you might expect, not a very dangerous drink. Like the real urban jungle, it may be stress-filled and cutthroat – well, not really – but it’s also pampered, privileged and enhanced with ice cream. Or something like that.
Let’s just say this is not the sort of drink blue collar workers belly up to the bar to order. It uses blackberry brandy, for pity’s sake. It’s not a tough drink. It couldn’t even begin to defend itself in a fight against, say, a Harvey Wallbanger. It would just surrender instantly and hand over the vanilla ice cream.
Urban Jungle
- 3/4 ounce blackberry brandy
- 3/4 ounce dry sherry
- 1/2 ounce triple sec
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla ice cream
Blend everything with a tablespoon of crushed ice in a champagne saucer. Serve.
