Sax with T. is a fruity, whiskey-based cocktail with some amaretto. It’s a little like an amaretto sour, but less sour. And more whiskey.
Maybe the best way to describe the flavor of this drink is that it’s mainly citrus and almond notes, but with the Crown Royal whiskey flavor coming straight through the middle of everything. You certainly don’t have to love whiskey to love this drink, though – with so many flavors going on, the whiskey is far from overpowering.
Recipe
- 1 ounce Crown Royal
- 3/4 ounce amaretto
- 1/4 ounce peach schnapps
- Pineapple juice
- Orange juice
- 2 splashes grenadine
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in all the ingredients and shake. Strain the mixture into a glass.
