The Nilla Wafer Martini isn’t quite a candy ‘tini. It doesn’t overwhelm you with sweetness or an attack of super-rich flavors. It’s sweet, but very simple and straightforward. Nothing frou-frou here.
Blending vanilla vodka with amaretto, the Nilla Wafter Martini makes a nice aperitif or dessert drink. Like a traditional martini, it’s 100% alcohol with no mixers or fillers, so as gentle as the flavor is, this drink is not for the faint of heart.
Nilla Wafer Martini
- 1 1/2 ounce vanilla vodka
- 1 1/2 ounce amaretto
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, and shake all ingredients together until cold. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Optional: garnish with a vanilla bean.
