You might assume a Long Vodka is an order, not a cocktail. But despite the lackluster name, this cocktail has a little more going on.
The Long Vodka features vodka with lime, bitters and tonic water. The flavor is sharp and refreshing, making a nice change from sweet cocktails.
Recipe
- 1.5 ounces vodka
- 1/2 lime
- 4 dashes angostura bitters
- 4 ounces tonic water
Put some ice cubes and the bitters into a tall glass and swirl them around to chill the glass and distribute the bitters evenly over the edges of the glass. Pour in the vodka, then squeeze the half lime into it. Pour tonic to the top and stir.
