The Fiery German is a simple shot to pour, but the flavor is complex. It features the herbal notes of Jagermeister (often described as something like black licorice) and the spice of cinnamon.
Many people think Jagermeister exists only to be poured into shots and guzzled at light speed so as to avoid the taste, but that’s not true. Many people find it pretty tasty (why else would they drink it, hmmmm?), and this mix with cinnamon schnapps brings out some of the best notes of the Jagermeister.
Recipe
- 1 ounce Jagermeister
- 1 ounce cinnamon schnapps
Fill a shaker with crushed ice. Pour both ingredients in and shake thoroughly. Strain into a shot glass.
