Mix That Drink Kitschy Drink Recipes
The Coco Butter starts with a familiar combination – Kahlua and milk. But then it adds a healthy dose of butterscotch schnapps, and that distinguishes it from the competition. This is a tasty, sweet and rich drink (if you use whole milk).
Enjoy a Coco Butter as an aperitif, or after dinner for a light bit of sweets. Each sip starts out on a slightly bitter note from the Kahlua, but ends in a mellow sweetness from the butterscotch schnapps. Try Dekuyper Buttershots for a particularly good schnapps.
Coco Butter
- 1 ounce Kahlua
- 1 1/2 ounces butterscotch schnapps
- Milk
Put ice in a highball glass. Pour the Kahlua and butterscotch schnapps. Fill the rest of the way with milk and serve with a stir straw.
