The 49er Gold Rush rocks on both flavor and presentation. It’s a fun shot that tastes like cinnamon, is gold in color and has gold leaf flakes in it.
Goldschlager works best for presentation if you can pour it right in front of your guests, and this is one of those recipes where you can. Just pour the tequila first and then the Goldschlager, so guests can watch the gold flakes sink to the bottom.
The flavor on this one is enhanced by chilling both the ingredients first.
- 1/2 ounce Goldschlager
- 1/2 ounce Cuervo gold tequila
Chill the ingredients and pour them into a shot glass.
